I can make a bunch of the each of these kind. I'll put on a few better pictures of the first bow, cause I didn't get the greatest shot of the details of it. It's one of my favorites though. email me or comment and let me know what you think. lisastradling@gmail.com, or just push that good old comment button and type away!!!! :) love you all for coming to my blog!

Patience and nonsense.

So we are all just going to be patient with Lee-la-lou. I am not abandoning my original plan in beginning this blog. I am still making bows, but just have put it on the back burner for just a minute until I get things COMPLETELY organized. So bear with me, and keep coming. If you have any requests or ideas, please share them with me.  Until than...enjoy my random posts.

I've been having lots of fun with my camera. Sayla has so enjoyed roaming wherever she wants so i can play. It's a win win play date for mother and daughter. I'll tell you what. I sure think utah's beautiful. Even when the weather gets cold and i turn into Scrouge, I still love this place.

"Oh my goodness" is what this picture above is. It's one of my favorite phrases she says.

If any of you know my husband, this picture above will make you laugh. I'll just say this....his nick name is "SNIFFORD" She has taken after her dad.

Sunday afternoon.

Sunday afternoon fun with 3 of my nieces and Graham. They make me smile. I was just outside my parents taking pics, and next thing I knew, I had 3 little girls posing and dancing in front of the camera. How cute are they?? I love them. As soon as Bodie knew what was going on, he hopped right on outside to be apart of the party. They are the best at cheesy grins. LOVE THEM!

Preoccupied by new camera.

I will be occupied taking pics of bows very soon. :) I'm so excited about my new camera.
This is my sweet new niece Goldie Jane. Yes that bow is a Lee-La-Lou bow. It looked darling on her precious self. Love her.
To get sayla to look at the camera is almost impossible, so this picture truly is a miracle. :) love her.

The girls in the bow are what make them cute!!!!

It's been slow and coming. I haven't figured out the problem with my comments, but hopefully you'll still come and look at what's new. Here are the latest. :) The headbands are not part of it. just the bows. It so fun to try something new.

country lands

There is nothing like feeling the freedom of a small town. We have been in St. Johns AZ for about 2 weeks now, and it has been great. I do miss my family dearly, and am so excited to go back. I have 2 new babies awaiting. A neice and a nephew were born during that 2 weeks. Being here has definitely made me appreciate the city for many reasons, but also appreciate the openess and freedom of a small town. Sayla absolutely has loved the outdoors. I am a totally different person now that i am a mom. I never dreamed of being so perinoid about everything. Being in a small town with all the critters, there is just a tad bit of yuck that goes through my mind when sayla is out with so many different creatures poop. Yes that's what goes through my mind. No i don't let her near it, but just the thought of all the animals around that poop on the ground that she's playing in. I know I might get made fun of for saying all this, especially from my fellow St Johns friends, but I guess it's just a fact that i did not grow up my whole life around the farm country. it's all good. I just appreciate it for lots of other things than the stress of the mess.

Happy 4th of July.

I know it's a little late, but hope you all had a great 4th. We had a blast. Sayla tried really hard to like the fireworks, and lasted the first few minutes, and then lost it. We ended up watching the fireworks inside the big bus. She loved it. This is one of my favorite times of the year. Maybe I say that when every holiday comes around. But i do have a special place in my heart for this country, and the freedoms we enjoy everyday. I know i take for granted so many things, and it's this time of year that I get reminded of the many blessings i have. Thank you to all who have served this country and who are serving right now.

New Accessory

So I'm not sure if I'm just a clutz or if you will agree with me when I say this, but for some reason I tend to break my necklaces too often. They seem to catch on just about everything, and...SNAP it's broken. I absolutely love necklaces, and always attempt to wear them. So in my experiment with my new buttons, I made a necklace but added my own little safety measure for those who are just like me. I had left over stretchy string from making braclets for Sas, and just added about 6 inches to the necklace. It's been PERFECT. If it catches on something, it just stretches. I feel good about my experiment, and the buttons are to die for. They are going to make the cutest things. Can't wait to show you more. For now... my latest obsession has been ANYTHING of the Paris nature. So here it is.

Spread the word

Hey, you know sometimes when you go to your blog, and no one ever comments? maybe it's just me. Ha ha ha! It's totally ok, but the only thing that goes through my mind is....."Does anyone ever even read my blog?" Sing me a song, Tell me something cool about yourself. Share the love, and I'll feel better about my life. Ha. Ha. Ha. Even if you hate my bows. There's more coming. Don't worry. Just for today....Here's the lastest bows.

Upcoming bows and such...

I've been waiting patiently for some new soooooooo cute buttons in the mail. They are going to make some darn cute bows, so keep checking in. I just have to make a little shoot out to the new Champs....the Dallas Mavericks. WAHOO!!!

So because this is more than just my bow blog...I'll share a little something about myself. Well...as I've already mentioned, I'm a mom. All these pics below are of my beautiful little Sayla. She is such a joy. Part of what comes with having kids is the beauty of God's creation of our bodies changing. A lot plays into that change. For me personally it has a lot to do with my food choices since she came. I didn't have cravings at all during pregnancy, but the day i had her, i had to have my oreos. And not just one or two, I needed at least half the bag. This is a confession i do not like, because I always prided myself in being healthy, and eating accordingly. It was NEVER hard for me to say no to soda, sugar, treats...or anything for that matter. If I told myself i was going to do something, I DID IT. And that is gone. I exercised on a regular basis and found so much joy in it, mostly running. It's has really taken a toll on me. No I'm not fat, no I'm not skinny. And...NO i'm not healthy, and feeling healthy is what truly matters. When I'm healthy I look good to myself regardless of what the camera reflects. I'm in the middle of this battle. I keep thinking I'm there and I've figured out what my problem is...but I haven't. I need to, and maybe there's someone else out there who knows, and has been there. I only have one child, and I know it just gets harder with more children, finding time to exercise and eating right. which is why I'm on a mission to dig in deep once again. I have days when I get angry, days where I just feel straight depressed, and days where I avoid thinking about the reality of what's going on inside me. I refuse to let this go much further. My physical health is something I take serious.

Here's a bow I experimented with today. Give me some input. Tell me what you think.

Pricing

Ok. I've put pricing on the bows below. Some of the bows are the last one of that specific material, but most can be replicated. Below also is a basic price list of each type of flower. Price will vary depending on button and fabric. But not by more than a dollar or so. For all first orders of 2 or more bows, shipping will only be $2.50 added on. And all flower prices are listed just as clips. If you want a headband with flower clip, or flower glued on headband instead of clip it will add a range of $1.50-$2.50.

Basically Pricing varies with each bow/flower, but average pricing will be $5.00-$12.00 plus shipping. I know with time things will get better. For the time being, please be patient while I learn the ropes. Also the only method of payment is by check or cash temporarily.

Please give feedback, and if there is something you like about a specific bow whether material/color/button. I will try to work around requests. Thanks again!!!!!

Just some more bows, and exercising patience for a camera. I've been taking these photos from my Iphone, and I'm unquestionably impressed with what it can do, but.......the convenience of the camera I've dreamed of for the past 2 yrs would be heaven. My goal is to have it by the end of the year. I don't have prices on anything here yet, so if you have any questions about a certain bow, send me an email at lisastradling@gmail.com.
